Colour Poem

Hey guys! Welcome back to my blog. Today I am going to be sharing my colour poem with you. If you do not know what a colour poem is, it is a poem where you have to choose a colour and describe something that is the color that you pick. Here is mine:
Colour Poem

WALT to use descriptive language to help create an image (picture) in our reader's head

Success Criteria

• Use adjectives to describe the noun
• Use adverbs to describe the verb (describe how the action is happening)
• Use a range of verbs to explain what is happening
• Use a range of nouns that help us identify with a colour

1.Pink is the color of fluffy unicorns dancing excitedly on a rainbow

2.Pink is the color of a strawberry ice-cream melting quickly

3.Pink is the color of glitterry higheels stomping loudly on the concrete

4.Pink is the color of a stripy duvet covor slipping of the bed quickly

5.Pink is the color of 100 layers of lipstick sticking hevily to my lips

6.Pink is the color of a tall flower falling over slowly

1. Yellow is the color of pikachu fighting ratata viciously

2. Yellow is the color of the sun shining brightly down on the mountains

3.Yellow is the color of a freshly grown banana falling slowly of the tree

5.Blue is the color of dory swimming in the ocean trying to remember her family carefully

4.Red is the color of converses scraping on the concrete loudly

5.Red is the color of Red (the angry bird) getting flung carelessly at the pigs

6.Red is the color of a Ferrari racing down the street fastly

7.Red is the color of crocks stepping in cow poo on the farm disgustingly

Mystery Object

Hi guys and welcome back to my blog. Today I am going to blog about my mystery object.

As I walk into the bathroom I see a mysterious object lying near the sink. I pick it up and smell it. Eww I said to myself it smells like horse hay. It is green and has zig-zags on it. I touch it and it feels soft on my hands. It is made out of cotton. It can be used to wash things. Have you guessed it yet? When you rub it together it makes a weird noise like leaves breaking. If you have not guessed it yet is a flannel.

We had to get a random object out of this box and then describe it. And I grabbed a flannel. Hope you guys enjoyed my blog post see you next time.

Hi and welcome back to my blog. Today I am blogging about my iPROUD. I had to chose my favorite piece of work then put on a dock then write about it. 

My Best Learning

This is my Scene Description

Task: Write a scene description of a picture you have chosen.

Success Criteria

• Quick plan to prepare for the writing task (brainstorm with words or ideas)
• Interesting beginning and ending
• Using the senses (see, touch, taste, hear, smell)
• Includes strong descriptive words (adjectives)
• Uses the present tense

As I turn around I see the most breathtaking sight. As I look around I see the golden sunshine shining through the tree’s onto the lake making the water look like gold. Is this real? I rub my eyes to see if it is a dream- it’s not!  The rushing waterfalls crash onto the glowing lake. The fresh lake water smells amazing. I can hear the birds chirping a beautiful song in the trees. The feel of the fresh breeze running through my hair feels nice.

I can see the lime green leaves on the tree waving around. Yuck I quietly said to myself as I feel the slimy and slippery moss on my feet as I jump across the soaking rocks. It looks like a tree with golden leaves because of the sunlight. I can see the little fishes swimming around in the lake. Now that I have been here, I never want to leave. It is just too beautiful.

I am proud of this because I spent a lot of time on it and I think it is really good

My biggest challenge was trying to think of really good descriptive words.

Cinderella Narrative - Week 7

I am blogging this because I am proud of how much writing I did and I used quite a bit of descriptive words. 
We were learning to write a narrative and to use descriptive word's 

                                       Cinderella

Once upon a time there was a beautiful young lady called Cinderella. Cinderella had an evil step-mother. She was horrible to Cinderella she made Cinderella do everything. Cinderella also had three sisters and one brother. Two ugly step-sisters and one little sister that acted like an angel and a older brother. Their names were Angela that was the little sister,Louie was the big brother who was fantastically nice to Cinderella.The ugly step-sisters names were Anastasia and Lily. One day there was a royal ball.Cinderella really wanted to go but she couldn't. Her evil step mother made a deal if she could get all her work done and find something to wear then she gave her more work to finish.Cinderella also had to get her sister's dresses and gloves and stuff ready.Cinderella went and cried up stairs.Suddenly POP!!! Cinderella’s fairy godmother came out of nowhere. Now now she said to Cinderella we can sort something out.All we need to do is give you an outfit,get you a carriage and get you a horse and get you some footmen. Now we will poof you all those thing’s.Poof,poof,poof and poof,there now we have all those things you can go to the ball.There is one thing you need to know is that the magic ends at midnight remember,the magic ends at midnight” fairy godmother”.When she went into the ball she saw the most handsome prince in the world.The prince asked Cinderella to dance She said yes.They danced for the rest of the night.Ding Ding Ding Ding the bell rang it was midnight.I have to go said Cinderella rushing out the door.Slip went one of Cinderella’s beautiful glass slipper’s.Her Handsome prince saved the slipper and went to every house and tried the slipper on every princess suddenly... knock knock knock. The prince knocked on the door The evil step-mother locked Cinderella up in her room.Then her pet mice found the key to Cinderella’s room and slid it under the door of Cinderella’s room. She unlocked the door and luckily the prince was still here. She rushed downstairs and asked the prince if she could tried on the slipper and he said yes. The slipper fit perfectly. The prince proposed to Cinderella and she said yes. Then they had a beautiful wedding and lived happily ever after.
