Hi and welcome back to my blog. Today I am blogging about my iPROUD. I had to chose my favorite piece of work then put on a dock then write about it. 

My Best Learning

This is my Scene Description

Task: Write a scene description of a picture you have chosen.

Success Criteria

• Quick plan to prepare for the writing task (brainstorm with words or ideas)
• Interesting beginning and ending
• Using the senses (see, touch, taste, hear, smell)
• Includes strong descriptive words (adjectives)
• Uses the present tense

As I turn around I see the most breathtaking sight. As I look around I see the golden sunshine shining through the tree’s onto the lake making the water look like gold. Is this real? I rub my eyes to see if it is a dream- it’s not!  The rushing waterfalls crash onto the glowing lake. The fresh lake water smells amazing. I can hear the birds chirping a beautiful song in the trees. The feel of the fresh breeze running through my hair feels nice.

I can see the lime green leaves on the tree waving around. Yuck I quietly said to myself as I feel the slimy and slippery moss on my feet as I jump across the soaking rocks. It looks like a tree with golden leaves because of the sunlight. I can see the little fishes swimming around in the lake. Now that I have been here, I never want to leave. It is just too beautiful.

I am proud of this because I spent a lot of time on it and I think it is really good

My biggest challenge was trying to think of really good descriptive words.

Super Fly

Hi guys welcome back and today I will be blogging about my weekend at Super Fly. I won the Super Fly tickets off the radio. They had a list of all the people in my hub up on the wall then they threw a dart to see who's name it landed on. It landed on mine. That's is how I won them. OK Now onto Super Fly. I won four tickets and I took Amie, My cousin, My mum and me. For those of you who don't know what Super Fly is It is a HUGE water slide with three slides to choose from and it looks like this

I like the middle one best because me, Amie and my cousin had a race. I went on the middle one and Amie and my cousin went on the the side ones and I won because the middle one was the fastest. After that we went to the park near the beach. The park was really fun. I went on a lot of the things that spun and then after I felt really sick. After the park we all went down the beach for a walk. Amie found this huge piece of wood that we went to play on. After we played on the wood we went looking for shells. That was my favorite part because I found lots of little white ones and I gave one to Amie. Then my mum took me and Amie to Amie's house and we went in the pool then we went into the spa because the pool was too cold. When we got out of the spa we went into the play house and played minecraft until I left.

Puzzle Piece

Hi guys welcome to my blog. This time I am blogging about my puzzle piece. Here is a photo of my puzzle piece. It is upside down because I started it on the wrong side and I did not realize until I was almost done. You were not allowed another one or the puzzle wouldn't fit together.

Camp

Hi guys and welcome back to my blog. This time I am blogging about camp. I am very excited and a bit nervous because camp is tomorrow! All the year 4's are staying at Omatua the whole time. They are so lucky. Year 5's have to stay one night Omatua and one night at Weka. I am excited because we are staying at Omatua. I am nervous because we are staying at Weka and I have never stayed there before. My traveling group is Camo, Me, Bella and Van. The person taking us is James, Bella's dad. At Omatua we are sleeping in the big hall and at Weka I don't know where we are sleeping.

My Uncle's Injury

Hi and welcome back to my blog 2016. Today I am writing about my uncles injury. My uncle injured his self by falling off his motorbike.This weekend I am staying at my grandma's house with my mum, my cousin and my uncle. My cousin and my uncle have come all the way from Hamilton. We are staying there because my uncle has 2 broken legs, 1 broken wrist and a crushed heel. My mum said he cant move much. I am very glad that they have come because I don't get to see my cousin much. My grandma lives on a big farm with loads and loads of chicken's so me and me cousin can slide down the hills.

My First Blog Post 2016

Hi my name is Kaydence and I am a year 5 in Rimu hub. I have 2 pets. Their names are Taylor (she is a rabbit) and Toki (he is a kitten). Toki went missing for two night's and when we found him he was in quite bad condition. He had been bitten by a dog and he'd messed up his eye. Apart from that my holidays were quite cool. My favorite subject at school is art,reading and swimming. My favorite thing to do in my free time is painting and hula-hooping. My favorite food's are nashi pears,pepperoni pizza and chocolate. My favorite sport is tennis. I play rippa rugby. My favorite animal's are dogs and husky's. My favorite part's about being in Rimu hub are that we have three teachers so we get three times the help and all the kind kids.

Writing

This is my recount.I am blogging this because I really loved doing it and I could do it again so many time.I enjoyed it that much.We were learning to re write a story and we could add some different things to the original story

Hansel And Gretel

Once upon a time there was a very very rich family who lived in the woods.This family was so rich that it became a problem.There was a daughter named Gretel,a son named Hansel,a dad named david and the meanest most horrible stepmother named laura.The stepmother was so horrible that she wanted to lead Hansel and Gretel into the woods and leave them there to freeze so that David and Laura could have all the money to themselves.David refused to do that to his own children but the stepmother did it any way.The father came with her to light Hansel and Gretel a fire and say goodbye.A couple months later Hansel and Gretel learned to look after themselves.One day when hansel was out hunting for food he saw a portal type thing in the middle of a tree,He immedietly went back to tell his sister.The next day Hansel took Gretel out to the tree with the portal thingie on it.Out of nowhere poped a door handle and a door.It came over to the potal infront of the potal and poped themselves self onto the potal.Gretel carefully opend the door to see a bright yellow light with little dots of blue.She stepped in side asking her brother what would the other univures look like.She popped her head inside the portal and all she saw was candy.She rushed out of the portal to tell her brother.she told her brother and they both rushed into the potal they both named the land candy-land They lived there forever and ever and ever.Then when they were 23 they bothed died from eating too much candy and 2 years later they turned into part of candy-land
