Awesome Monkeys Reading Task

Hello guys and welcome back to my blog! Today I am going to tell you about my reading task. This was really fun because we got to read THREE WHOLE BOOKS!!!! The three books were called 1 Madam Spry and the secret plans, 2 The blue diamond and 3 Mr. Mustard. My favorite book was The blue diamond. Here is my reading task.

BIG ACCOMPLISHMENTS:Getting steak for Hugo, Finding the blue diamond, Capturing Mr. Mustard and getting the secret plans.

Argument Writing

Hi Everybody. Today I will blogging about my argument writing. For this task we had to pick a topic, have three reasons and persuade the reader. The trickiest part was  trying to pick my reason because there were so many great things to pick from. My topic is:

Why You Should Adopt An Animal

You should DEFINITELY adopt an animal. If you do not like animals then read this and I think I might change your mind.

First of all, I think you should adopt an animal because at some pet store’s they are stuck in cages and some don’t even get taken out for walks or to play. Some cages are really small and they don't really have enough room to play or run around. It is really sad when the animals Brother, Sister, Mum or Dad gets adopted and they are all alone when nobody wants to adopt that last animal.

Secondly, some animals have had a really bad life and don't get fed enough, do not get much attention or if they get hurt the owner doesn't even care. Now they are living in cages with animals they don't even know. But if you adopt them you can feed them, pet them , and brush them. If I was an animal I would love that life WAY better.

Lastly, most people want to adopt a cat or dog but there are lots more animals out there that need rescuing. For example a hamster, a rabbit, a fish, a bird and lots more. Animals(that are not cats or dogs) are very fun to. Hamsters are fun because you can feed them watch them run on their wheel and brush them. Fish are fun because some fish can do tricks like flips. Birds are fun because you can train them to speak and say your name and lots more cool stuff.

My Awesome Holiday

Hey guys welcome back to my blog and today I will be telling you about the awesome holidays that I had. So first I will tell you my favorite part. Me, Carman(My friend), Carman's little sister and my friends step Mum Went on this HUGE hike. We had to go up and down about 4 or 5 mountain's and then do a even bigger walk around the place. We were doing it at the Maori Pa's in Napier. There were a lot of signs that we had to stop and read. We took some photos of us at the top of the mountain and of some of the signs. It was really fun when we went in and on the Maori Pa's. When I went on the tallest Maori pa you could see a lot of Napier and it was really cool and scary at the same time. When we came across a really steep hill. Me and my friend wanted to run down the very steep hill. So we did and my friend stopped before she got anywhere near the edge. But me, I got so close that I nearly fell off the side. When we were at the top we could see lots of cool stuff like where the kiwi fruit grows, the ocean and this really big line of huge tree's. Doing all of that took 3 whole HOURS!!!!!. Well I hope you enjoyed your holiday as well. See you next time.

Mystery Object

Hi guys and welcome back to my blog. Today I am going to blog about my mystery object.

As I walk into the bathroom I see a mysterious object lying near the sink. I pick it up and smell it. Eww I said to myself it smells like horse hay. It is green and has zig-zags on it. I touch it and it feels soft on my hands. It is made out of cotton. It can be used to wash things. Have you guessed it yet? When you rub it together it makes a weird noise like leaves breaking. If you have not guessed it yet is a flannel.

We had to get a random object out of this box and then describe it. And I grabbed a flannel. Hope you guys enjoyed my blog post see you next time.

iPROUD 1

Hi and welcome back to my blog. Today I am blogging about my iPROUD. I had to chose my favorite piece of work then put on a dock then write about it. 

My Best Learning

This is my Scene Description

Task: Write a scene description of a picture you have chosen.

Success Criteria

• Quick plan to prepare for the writing task (brainstorm with words or ideas)
• Interesting beginning and ending
• Using the senses (see, touch, taste, hear, smell)
• Includes strong descriptive words (adjectives)
• Uses the present tense

As I turn around I see the most breathtaking sight. As I look around I see the golden sunshine shining through the tree’s onto the lake making the water look like gold. Is this real? I rub my eyes to see if it is a dream- it’s not!  The rushing waterfalls crash onto the glowing lake. The fresh lake water smells amazing. I can hear the birds chirping a beautiful song in the trees. The feel of the fresh breeze running through my hair feels nice.

I can see the lime green leaves on the tree waving around. Yuck I quietly said to myself as I feel the slimy and slippery moss on my feet as I jump across the soaking rocks. It looks like a tree with golden leaves because of the sunlight. I can see the little fishes swimming around in the lake. Now that I have been here, I never want to leave. It is just too beautiful.

I am proud of this because I spent a lot of time on it and I think it is really good

My biggest challenge was trying to think of really good descriptive words.

Super Fly

Hi guys welcome back and today I will be blogging about my weekend at Super Fly. I won the Super Fly tickets off the radio. They had a list of all the people in my hub up on the wall then they threw a dart to see who's name it landed on. It landed on mine. That's is how I won them. OK Now onto Super Fly. I won four tickets and I took Amie, My cousin, My mum and me. For those of you who don't know what Super Fly is It is a HUGE water slide with three slides to choose from and it looks like this

I like the middle one best because me, Amie and my cousin had a race. I went on the middle one and Amie and my cousin went on the the side ones and I won because the middle one was the fastest. After that we went to the park near the beach. The park was really fun. I went on a lot of the things that spun and then after I felt really sick. After the park we all went down the beach for a walk. Amie found this huge piece of wood that we went to play on. After we played on the wood we went looking for shells. That was my favorite part because I found lots of little white ones and I gave one to Amie. Then my mum took me and Amie to Amie's house and we went in the pool then we went into the spa because the pool was too cold. When we got out of the spa we went into the play house and played minecraft until I left.
